I'm Stephanie Allen-Adams, Founder/CEO of Cultural Moves, a Plano-based consulting firm specializing in employee development and retention.

At Cultural Moves Consulting Services, we support corporate employees, teachers and school administrators by conducting customized training solutions that provide a forum for discussion and friendly debate that will help them to gain the skill set to facilitate increased on-the-job competency by working to change attitudes and behaviors. By offering ongoing training and support,  we help team members to improve job performance as well as assist in personal and professional growth.

Oftentimes, the little things (be they intentional or unintentional) that we say or do in regards to gender, generational, cultural and ethnic differences can be likened to "building a wall, brick-by-brick"--a wall that can isolate and eventually separate us altogether. But, by clearly defining objectives and supporting staff as they build problem-solving skills will help them to learn how to link diversity with their organization's goals and produce clear results.

Our goal is to help staff build the capacity they will need to move forward and begin making the effort to "tear down the wall" that so often divides us. By doing so, staff can slowly begin creating an all-inclusive work environment where everyone is made to feel valued and appreciated.

Staff will be provided with the methods and techniques that will enable them to establish strong, healthy relationships with their colleagues, their students and their families.
